Color Description Of Brown Fused Alumina

Due to the presence of Fe (iron) element in brown corundum, color can be used to differentiate the quality of brown fused aluminum.

The color of brown fused aluminum is usually brown and transparent. Brown fused aluminum with high aluminum content is lighter in color, while shiny brown corundum has high transparency in sunlight. Compared to dark brown fused aluminum, it has slightly higher hardness, high wear resistance, and high iron content.

The depth of color is closely related to the size of particles, with brown corundum particles being small and light in color, while large particles are dark in color.
