Garnet sand is a naturally processed natural abrasive with high hardness and Mohs hardness of 7.5-8; Garnet sand has sharp corners and forms a certain roughness on the surface of the sandblasted object, which is also beneficial to the adsorption of the coating, so as to achieve better sandblasting rust removal effect (up to grade sa3), and it does not contain free silicon and has little dust content.

The Mohs hardness of quartz sand is 6. After sandblasting, the effect is poor and there are soft impurities left. It will also fall off and blister after painting. In the process of quartz sand blasting, free silicon and other harmful substances will float, endangering human health and polluting the environment.
