Different Uses Of Bauxite

According to the classification of use, bauxite has the following types:

1）Metallurgical grade bauxite: refers to bauxite used for refining metal aluminum or smelting aluminum oxide;

2）Grinding grade bauxite: mainly used for producing high-alumina cement and various abrasives and abrasive tools (AL203 ≥ 86%);

3）Refractory grade bauxite: used to produce various shaped and amorphous refractory materials;

4）Welding grade bauxite: used in industry to produce welding electrodes. (AL203 ≥ 87%), in addition to the normal detection of aluminum, silicon, iron and titanium content, some electric welding grade bauxite also requires the inspection of phosphorus, sulfur, manganese and other items;
