What is fluorspar powder and what is it used for?

Fluorspar powder (Fluorite powder) can be divided into dry powder and wet powder.

Mainly used in chemical industry, metallurgical industry, buliding materials industry and other special industry.

Acid grade fluorspar powder (CaF2≥97%) and high purity fluorspar powder are used to react with sulfuric acid to produce hydrofluoric acid and other fluorine products.

Fluorspar powder with CaF2 content of 80-95% are generally applicable to the building materials industry. 

The function is to act as cosolvent and opacifier to improve the color of finished products.
