Bauxite sand is a special foundry moulding sand for iron and steel casting. It's spherical particle shape guarantees a very good flowability. Due to the special surface structure the binder/hardener demand compared to other moulding sands can be reduced. Bauxite sand has a very good refractoriness of up to 1800 degree Celsius and a low thermal expansion.

Such bauxite has the properties of high alumina, low iron, high hardness, small thermal expansion coefficient, high refractoriness, and stable thermal chemical performance, so it is the main raw material of producing alumina and artificial corundum refractory materials.

It can be used for national defense, aviation, automobiles, electrical appliances, chemicals, daily necessities.
