SEPPE BAUXITE
25083000
Introduction
SEPPE 85% Al₂O₃ Calcined Bauxite Aggregate is a high-performance refractory raw material produced by calcining superior grade bauxite in rotary kilns at temperatures up to 1600°C. This thermal treatment removes moisture and organic impurities, resulting in a dense, hard aggregate with exceptional refractoriness and mechanical strength. It is the preferred aggregate choice for manufacturing high-alumina refractory castables, low-cement castables, and gunning mixes used in steel, cement, and glass industries.

High-Alumina Refractory Castables: Used as primary aggregate in dense castables for ladle linings, tundish linings, and furnace hearths.
Low Cement Castables (LCC): Ideal for applications requiring high hot strength and low porosity, such as cement kiln preheaters and cooler zones.
Gunning Mixes: Suitable for rapid repair and maintenance of high-temperature furnace linings in steel and foundry operations.
Refractory Bricks & Shapes: Used as raw material for pressing high-alumina bricks and precast shapes.

0-1 mm — Fine aggregate for dense matrix packing
1-3 mm — Medium aggregate for balanced workability
3-5 mm — Coarse aggregate for high-strength castables
5-8 mm — Extra coarse for specialized applications
200 mesh / 325 mesh — Fine powder for matrix formulation
