Product Description
Brown corundum is an artificial corundum made from bauxite, carbon material and iron scrap through high temperature electric melting in an electric arc furnace. It is a tough, hard material (Mohs hardness 9) with high strength, excellent wear and corrosion resistance and good thermal conductivity.
As a Polishing Grade product, it is specifically engineered for surface treatment applications including sandblasting, deburring, precision lapping, and mirror finishing. It is also suitable for grinding wheels, sandpaper, and refractory materials.
