SEPPE BAUXITE
25083000
Introduction
Calcined bauxite is a premium aluminum ore derivative, produced by calcining high-grade raw bauxite at 850℃-1600℃. This high-temperature process removes moisture and impurities, increasing the alumina content from 57%-58% (raw bauxite) to 80%-88% (calcined bauxite). As a high PSV bauxite aggregate, it features high hardness, low thermal expansion, excellent wear resistance and shear stress resistance, making it the ideal anti-skid aggregate material for road pavement surfacing – effectively preventing road surface polishing and improving driving safety.

Key Technical Advantages
Ultra-High Polished Stone Value (PSV) Rating: Consistently exceed 70-75. Excellent anti-slip performance, effectively resisting shear stress and road surface polishing, ensuring the road surface maintains its microtexture and grip under heavy traffic, maintaining long-term friction to ensure driving safety (suitable for highways, urban expressways, steep slopes, and bridge surfaces).
High hardness and good wear resistance: High alumina content and dense structure determine its high Mohs hardness of 9, reducing road maintenance frequency and costs while providing excellent wear and breakage resistance.
Optimized gradation: Precise and uniform particle size distribution (typically 1-3mm or customized), allowing for maximum adhesion to resins and epoxy adhesives, easy to construct.
