Introduction
Sintered mullite is produced from high-quality natural bauxite through multi-stage homogenization and calcination at temperatures exceeding 1,750°C. It is a high-performance refractory raw material characterized by high bulk density, excellent thermal shock resistance, low high-temperature creep, and strong chemical corrosion resistance.
Refractory products made from mullite offer superior high-temperature stability, long service life, and excellent corrosion resistance. Depending on particle size, mullite is available in sand and powder grades.
Available sizes: 0–0.5mm, 0–1mm, 1–3mm, 3–5mm, 5–8mm, 200 mesh, 325 mesh, etc.

Application
Mullite sand is a great refractory material widely used in metallurgy, investment casting, ceramic foundry sand, ceramsite, electronics, and other industries.
Thanks to its high temperature resistance, high strength, low thermal conductivity, and significant energy-saving effects, mullite is suitable for:
*Petroleum cracking furnaces
* Metallurgical hot air furnaces
* Ceramic roller kilns
* Electric porcelain drawer kilns
* Tunnel kilns
* Glass crucible kiln linings
* Various electric furnaces
Characteristics
* Uniform expansion
