Introduction

Low carbon content produced via a controlled deoxidation steelmaking route, yielding stable internal structure. Good toughness, good hardness, excellent rebound, and significantly longer service life than high-carbon steel shot.

Low carbon cast steel shot belongs to long-life shot peening grade — produced via controlled deoxidation steelmaking to achieve very low carbon content. Premium choice for fatigue-critical peening applications. Toughness is the best.

Key Advantages

1. Service life up to 3300~3800 cycles, 25% less consumption than high carbon double tempered shot;

2. Consumed by gradual abrasion instead of cracking, extremely low dust & breakage rate;

3. Gentle impact, no dent on thin sheet, aluminum & precision components;

4. Less wear on blast wheel & spare parts, save machine maintenance cost;

5.Low conductivity & chloride content, prevent workpiece rust-back after blasting.

Applicable industries (Focusing on precision strengthening+thin plate cleaning)

1. Shot peening strengthening: automotive gears, springs, crankshafts, connecting rods, bearings, and engineering machinery leaf springs strengthening (preferred for military/automotive parts);

2. Thin plate category: cold-rolled steel plate, galvanized plate, aluminum alloy stamping parts, container thin plate shot blasting;

3. Precision casting: sand removal and deburring of aluminum castings and precision castings;

4. Surface pretreatment of high-end hardware and aerospace components.
