Introduction
Sintered mullite sand is produced from natural high-quality bauxite through multi-stage homogenization and calcined at over 1,750°C. It is a high-quality refractory raw material characterized by high bulk density, stable quality, excellent thermal shock resistance, a low high-temperature creep index, and good chemical corrosion resistance.
Products made from mullite offer high temperature resistance, long service life, and excellent corrosion resistance. Depending on particle size, it can be classified as mullite sand or mullite powder.
Standard sizes: 0–0.5 mm, 0–1 mm, 1–3 mm, 3–5 mm, 5–8 mm, 200 mesh, 325 mesh, etc.

Application
Mullite sand is a great refractory material widely used in metallurgy, investment casting, ceramic foundry sand, ceramsite, electronics, and other industries.
Thanks to its high temperature resistance, high strength, low thermal conductivity, and significant energy-saving effects, mullite is suitable for:
*Petroleum cracking furnaces
* Metallurgical hot air furnaces
* Ceramic roller kilns
* Electric porcelain drawer kilns
* Tunnel kilns
* Glass crucible kiln linings
* Various electric furnaces
Characteristic
* Uniform expansion
