Sintered Mullite M45
SEPPE Sintered Mullite M45 is a low-alkali alumina-silica refractory raw material used in refractory castables, shaped refractories, ceramic bodies, kiln furniture and high-temperature industrial lining systems. It is produced from selected mullite-bearing ores through high-temperature processing and screening, providing stable chemistry, hot strength, resistance to spalling and low thermal conductivity.

Product Overview
Sintered Mullite M45 is an economical mullite grade with balanced alumina and silica composition. Compared with higher alumina mullite grades, M45 provides a practical balance of thermal shock resistance, refractoriness and cost efficiency for refractory formulations where very high alumina content is not required.
Its low alkali content helps reduce low-melting phases in refractory systems, supporting stable service performance in castables, bricks, ramming mixes, ceramic rollers, kiln furniture and other high-temperature products.
