SEPPE
SEPPE Sintered Mullite M60 is a calcined mullite raw material for refractory industries. With 60.0% typical Al2O3, low alkali impurities and stable physical data, it is suitable for refractory systems requiring hot strength, resistance to spalling and low thermal conductivity.
M60 is positioned as a higher alumina mullite grade for refractory formulations that need stronger high-temperature performance than economical lower-alumina grades. Its low Na2O and K2O levels help reduce low-melting phases and support stable service behavior.
The M60 TDS lists 2.65 g/cm3 minimum bulk density and moisture below 0.5%, with regular sizes from fine powder to coarse aggregate for different refractory applications.
Standard sizes cover both aggregate and powder requirements. Customized particle size distribution can be discussed according to refractory formulation, forming process and final service condition.
Standard packing is 1.0-1.5 MT big jumbo bag. Store the material under dry conditions and avoid contamination during handling and transportation.
? What is Sintered Mullite M60 used for?
It is used for refractory castables, shaped refractories, kiln furniture and high-temperature alumina-silica filler systems.
? How is M60 different from lower alumina mullite grades?
M60 has higher alumina content at 60.0% typical, making it suitable for applications requiring stronger high-temperature performance while maintaining low alkali levels.
? Can SEPPE provide M60 TDS and COA?
Yes. SEPPE can provide the M60 technical data sheet, batch COA and particle size information for order confirmation.
