Introduction
Sintered Mullite is a high-quality refractory raw material produced from selected natural bauxite through multi-stage homogenization and calcination at temperatures exceeding 1,750°C. It offers high bulk density, excellent thermal shock resistance, low high-temperature creep, and outstanding chemical corrosion resistance.
Mullite-based refractories are known for their high temperature resistance, long service life, and corrosion durability. Depending on particle size, the product is classified as mullite sand (coarse) or mullite powder (fine).
Available sizes:
0–0.5mm, 0–1mm, 1–3mm, 3–5mm, 5–8mm, 200 mesh, 325 mesh, and other sizes available upon request.

Application
Mullite sand is a great refractory material widely used in metallurgy, investment casting, ceramic foundry sand, ceramsite, electronics, and other industries.
Thanks to its high temperature resistance, high strength, low thermal conductivity, and significant energy-saving effects, mullite is suitable for:
*Petroleum cracking furnaces
* Metallurgical hot air furnaces
* Ceramic roller kilns
* Electric porcelain drawer kilns
* Tunnel kilns
* Glass crucible kiln linings
* Various electric furnaces
Characteristic
* Uniform expansion
* Excellent thermal shock stability
* High load softening point
* Small high temperature creep value
* High hardness
* Good chemical resistance
