The main applications of steel grit:
1. Surface rust removal and pretreatment: Steel sand is the absolute mainstay in the pre-treatment of painting for large projects such as ships, bridges, steel structure buildings, and storage tanks. It can efficiently remove heavy rust, oxide scale, and old coatings, and create rough anchor structures, greatly improving the adhesion of new coatings.
2. Stone cutting: As an abrasive on a saw blade, it is used to cut hard stones such as granite and marble.
3. Increase friction: Used for making anti-skid road surfaces or steel plates.
