Introduction
GP is an economical general-purpose cast steel grit with outstanding toughness, manufactured in accordance with SAE J199 and GB/T18838 standards. Processed via single quenching & tempering heat treatment, it features inherent angular grain shape. Its edges wear gradually into roundness during operation with minimal breakage or shot-blasting machine blockage, serving as the dominant abrasive for foundry shakeout and high-volume steel plate pre-treatment on production lines.

Key Advantages
1. High toughness & low breakage rate: Grain edges wear slowly instead of shattering drastically, lowering overall abrasive consumption cost;
2. Gentle impact prevents substrate damage: Ideal for thin sheets and precision castings without workpiece deformation risk;
3. Wide compatibility with all blasting equipment: Perfect fit for crawler, hook-type and steel plate pre-treatment lines, avoiding elevator & separator clogging;
4. Low dust emission: Far less dust than mineral abrasives to meet environmental protection requirements.
Application Fields
1. Foundry industry: Cleaning adhered sand and thermal oxide scales from cast steel & iron components;
2. Steel processing line: Removing light rust and thin oxide layers from hot-rolled sheets, section steel and H-beams;
3. Auto spare parts: Surface cleaning for chassis components and stamped thin-wall parts;
4. Light steel structure & hardware: Derusting of light steel frames, iron art and thin-wall pipes.
Selection Tip:
Coarse grades GP10~GP18 for heavy casting cleaning;
Medium-fine GP25~GP80 for thin plate & precision workpieces;
GP120 for fine pre-finishing treatment.
