Brown Fused Alumina As Anti-skid Surfacing Materials
SEPPE Brown Fused Alumina as anti-skid surfacing material is a hard, angular and wear-resistant aggregate used for industrial floors, ramps, bridge decks, road marking systems, stairs and safety surfaces. Its high hardness and strong mechanical stability help improve surface friction and long-term wear resistance under traffic and industrial service conditions.
▸ This product is a selected brown fused alumina aggregate used to increase surface friction in flooring, road and safety surfacing systems.
▸ Angular particles provide strong mechanical interlock and anti-slip texture after being broadcast into coatings or surface layers.
▸ SEPPE supplies common aggregate sizes such as 0-1 mm, 1-3 mm, 3-5 mm and 5-8 mm.
▸ High Friction Surface: Angular brown fused alumina particles help improve anti-slip performance on coated and trafficked surfaces.
▸ Excellent Wear Resistance: Mohs hardness around 9 supports long service life in industrial floor and road use.
▸ Aggregate Size Control: Common coarse and medium aggregate sizes are screened for surfacing requirements.
▸ Low Dust & Clean Material: Dust and fine contamination can be controlled to support coating and flooring application.
▸ Outdoor & Industrial Use: Suitable for ramps, walkways, bridge decks, factory floors and road marking systems.
Brown fused alumina is used as a hard angular aggregate for high-friction surfacing. It is broadcast into coatings or surface layers to improve grip, wear resistance and long-term texture.
Common sizes: 0-1 mm, 1-3 mm, 3-5 mm, 5-8 mm. Final size should be selected according to coating thickness and required surface texture.

SEPPE Brown Fused Alumina As Anti-skid Surfacing Materials quality control system covers raw bauxite review, electric arc furnace fusion control, crushing and magnetic separation, particle size classification, chemical composition testing, application-related property review, batch documentation, packaging verification and shipment traceability.
Raw bauxite and furnace charge materials are reviewed before electric arc furnace fusion to support stable alumina content and final grain quality.
Fusion, cooling, crushing and magnetic separation are controlled to produce hard, tough brown fused alumina grains with reduced magnetic impurities.
Material is screened into ordered aggregate sizes such as 0-1 mm, 1-3 mm, 3-5 mm and 5-8 mm for surface texture control.
Chemical composition and physical properties are reviewed according to the final application and purchase specification.
Packaging, labeling, bag weight, retained samples and loading records are checked before shipment according to order requirements.
