F Grade Brown Fused Alumina
SEPPE F Grade Brown Fused Alumina is a bonded abrasive grade material produced by electric arc furnace fusion, crushing, magnetic separation and precision screening. It is suitable for grinding wheels, cutting discs, vitrified abrasives, resin bonded tools and general grinding applications that require stable FEPA F grit control and tough abrasive grain performance.
▸ F Grade Brown Fused Alumina is screened according to bonded abrasive grit requirements and is mainly used in abrasive wheel and tool production.
▸ It provides a balance of high hardness and toughness for grinding, cutting and deburring applications.
▸ SEPPE supplies common F grits for resin bonded wheels, vitrified wheels, mounted points, stones and abrasive blocks.
▸ FEPA F Grade Control: Screening focuses on stable grit distribution for bonded abrasive structure and grinding consistency.
▸ High Toughness: Brown fused alumina grain resists excessive breakage in grinding wheel operation.
▸ Consistent Chemistry: Controlled Al₂O₃ and impurity levels support reliable abrasive performance.
▸ Magnetic Separation: Reduced magnetic material helps improve grain cleanliness for abrasive production.
▸ Flexible Supply: Coarse, medium and fine F grit sizes can be supplied according to customer formulation.

▸ High-quality bauxite selection → Electric arc furnace fusion → Cooling and crystallization → Crushing → Magnetic separation → Screening and classification → Final inspection → Packaging.
▸ The process is designed to control FEPA F grit distribution, alumina content, magnetic material and grain cleanliness.
▸ FEPA F grit particle size is checked by sieve analysis.
▸ Chemical composition is tested for Al₂O₃, Fe₂O₃, SiO₂ and TiO₂.
▸ Magnetic material and visual cleanliness are reviewed before packing.
▸ Batch COA and particle size report can be supplied with shipment.
▸ Common packaging includes 25 kg bags, paper bags, 1 MT jumbo bags and customized packaging according to order requirements.

▸ Palletizing, container loading, private label packaging and inspection support can be arranged upon request.

▸ Store in dry conditions and protect bags from moisture, contamination and package damage before use.
▸ F grade is mainly used for bonded abrasives such as grinding wheels, cutting wheels, stones and abrasive blocks.
▸ Coated abrasives usually use P grade. F grade can be discussed only if the customer's process accepts it.
▸ Common F sizes include F12-F220, with custom supply according to order requirements.

SEPPE F Grade Brown Fused Alumina quality control system covers raw bauxite review, electric arc furnace fusion control, crushing and magnetic separation, particle size classification, chemical composition testing, application-related property review, batch documentation, packaging verification and shipment traceability.
Raw bauxite and furnace charge materials are reviewed before electric arc furnace fusion to support stable alumina content and final grain quality.
Fusion, cooling, crushing and magnetic separation are controlled to produce hard, tough brown fused alumina grains with reduced magnetic impurities.
Screening is controlled around ordered F grit size to support bonded abrasive wheel structure and grinding performance.
Chemical composition and physical properties are reviewed according to the final application and purchase specification.
Packaging, labeling, bag weight, retained samples and loading records are checked before shipment according to order requirements.
