Introduction
Brown Fused Alumina (BFA), also known as Brown Aluminum Oxide, is produced through an electric arc furnace smelting process. It combines high hardness (Mohs 9) with exceptional toughness, making it an ideal abrasive grain. The F Grade (FEPA standard) ensures precise, uniform particle size distribution, which is critical for bonded and coated abrasives such as grinding wheels, sandpaper, abrasive discs, rolls, belts, and pads. Its thermal stability also makes it suitable for refractory applications.
