Introduction
White Fused Alumina (WFA) is an electro-fused artificial corundum produced from high-purity Bayer-processed alumina in an electric arc furnace. Its white color, high hardness (Mohs 9), and controlled particle shape make it particularly suitable for coated abrasive applications such as sandpaper, abrasive belts, and discs. In addition, WFA is widely used in bonded abrasives, blasting media, and refractories.
