Garnet as a natural abrasive can be used for waterjet cutting to cut tough materials because of its high hardness, efficient cutting speed and more smooth cutting surface. It is a cost-effective alternative to silica sand, mineral slags and steel grits and shot as the perfect symbiosis of grain size, density and durability creates the optimum abrasive efficiency, lowest abrasive consumption (kg/m2) at the highest production rates (m2/hr).

SEPPE Waterjet Cutting Garnet 80 mesh is extensively used in waterjet cutting machines around the world.
