Introduction
Brown Fused Alumina (BFA), also known as Brown Aluminum Oxide, is produced through an electric arc furnace smelting process. It combines high hardness (Mohs 9) with exceptional toughness, making it a premium abrasive grain for applications such as blasting media, sandpaper, grinding wheels, abrasive discs, rolls, belts, and pads. Its excellent thermal stability also makes it a preferred raw material for refractory applications.
