Introduction
Brown fused alumina is an artificial corundum produced from bauxite, carbon materials, and iron filings in an electric arc furnace. Due to its high hardness and excellent toughness, it is one of the most widely used basic abrasives. It is especially suitable for polishing and grinding applications, and is also used in refractory materials, chemical additives, precision casting, and anti-slip materials.
